And you are clueless and need to watch the WNBA if u think otherwise!!

One of the best safeties to ever play at UM... I have him above Brandon Meriweather, maybe tied with Kenny Phillips.

except those guys didn't get hurt on every big hit. Deon's gonna have to face a lot of scrutiny if his body will hold up to the rigors of NFL life. 4-5 round at best because of major durability concerns is my pick. Shame because he is a very good FOOTBALL player.

His gameplay could def be rd 1 talent but injury concerns plus the fact that safeties sometimes get nudged down might put him a few rounds lower.

Deon's injury history is over blown.... Since his junior year and this year I've seen him do nothing but get right up talking **** after laying somebody out. Most of his injury issues were all BC of that same hernia issue he had his freshman year.

You picked the wrong players to compare him to IMO. Not even close to Meriweather and farther from Kenny Philips.

Bush is a combo of the two IMO.... Kenny had the best instincts but wasn't the enforcer that Meriweather and Bush were... But Meriweather isn't as good in space as Kenny or Bush

He had shoulder injuries that kept him out most of the time! If Deon was a 1st rounder, you didn't help convince me! Another porst from dirty spunk!

he is only great if he played safety in HS...if not Dorito says he is not GOAT material

You haven't watched the same games i've been watching then? He misses time in games with stingers and being nicked all the time. Might only be a few plays here and there, but when you get walked off the field for the same shoulder issues NFL talent evaluators take note. You end up on a chronic injury list of some other list like that NFL teams keep you have no chance.

I love his talent, but expected a lot more from him this season. To me it seems like Jenkins was the most impressive of our safeties this year.

How many times did you see him in the right position to make a play at the U during his career? How many int's? How many passes defended? How many TFL's? How many WR's did he lay out? Not many that I recall.

I watched every U game during the past 20 years, specially the last 4. I must have been watching the wrong games for I was not impressed with him at all. Unless he was under coached, which has happened around here a lot, I thought he was an underachiever big time. I think that Jamal Carter is twice as good at safety than Deon although I love Deon as a person.

Hoping the Titans can pick him up in the 3rd or 4th round if they don't take Ramsey in the 1st.

Then you never saw Bennie Blades or Darryl Williams or Ed Reed or Sean Taylor play. I think Deon can be a good pro and they ran a lot of Robber with him on Saturday and he did well with it. But until like the four I named he just doesn't make a lot of plays when the balls in the air. He does bring the wood.
