Deon Bush exploring going pro

Butch would have Carter playing like Edward20
That's a joke. Smarts, instincts, agility, speed, ball skills, tackling... Reed got him in every area and it's not even close.

Even though Al can't develop anybody, the real problem is he can't recruit impact players.

Imagine what Butch Davis would do with Deon and Jamal.

Fentress would be All ACC under Butch.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.... Ur right with Carter.... Fentress u are way off. He would be like that one dude we had in 2000-02. That special teams ace we had.... Carl something

Yeah, I remember him....I think his name was Carl Sandburg I think, ****** kid from South Beach. I believe he went on to found the Carl's Jr. chain of hamburger joints.

Golden has ruined lots of kids careers. Hopefully whatever he decides it works out for him.

Down right criminal the wasted talent on this team. Shame!

Deon Bush - 48 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 INT, 55 FF missed one game

Don't know why you guys say Golden ruined his year, he actually had a good year. Teams were avoiding him all year and he still made an impact.

Wish he had another legit safety paired with him and not freaking Fentress

I know this thread is focusing on Bush, but all of the other Cane related info in the article is what caught my eye. REALLY good stuff in that article. And props to Highsmith. I plan on donating what little I can.

Bush has intriguing upside in another weak safety class. He's better off returning to school but there are tons of UDFA/late-round safeties getting PT in the NFL so the pathway is there even if you don't get picked high.

We like to hate on our own players but Landon Collins is the top-rated S and he's put out some bad film this year in coverage. It's a tough position to excel at consistently in today's offensive climate.

Before the season Bush was projected as an early second round pick. He has the talent that most recognize, they just need a secondary coach. He should have more interceptions.

I think Golden is good developer of talent, he's just god awful at putting them in position to excel and win.

Another guy who hates it here. Under normal circumstances, a guy like Bush would NEVER be thinking about leaving early with his injury history and corresponding lack of game tape.

Can't even gauge how good bush is due to the scheme. In an aggressive scheme Bush is an all American. Look how good he plays in that crap scheme.

Like it was stated before, both bush and carter could stand to play closer to the l.o.s.

Too many people saying carter takes bad angles, misses tackles, assignments. Blah bla blah... Got a 220 pound safety playing 30 yards off the l.os. And you guys are blaming him? Stfu.

Could you imagine kam chancellor playing 30 yards off the ball ?

But blame a player for trying his best in a scheme that's putting him at a huge disadvantage.

We really can't gauge how good any of our defensive players are. Not even Denzel...

Bush is in the Same situation as Duke. He'll of a talent but injuries has been the hindering them. The only difference is that Duke broke records without even playing any games. Bush needs to bulk up, come back his senior year and play great ball. He has the potential.

"The only difference is that Duke broke records without even playing any games."

Oh?

Oh?
Lol meant "all" his games

Any kid that has a chance to escape - weather it be through transfer or declaring - needs to go. Another year here is simply going to set them back. It's 365 more days of poor conditioning, poor coaching, developing bad habits, etc. Just run.

No.

This is not about whether he hates it here or not. It's about whether it's better to take this year's pay offering from the NFL or next year's.
