Hayes is honestly often the literal very first guy to know when a recruit decides.

There have been articles written about this because it's pretty fascinating. He's basically the gatekeeper of all things CFB recruiting. Kinda crazy.

And no, the edits don't take a day to make, he makes them quickly but the kids do usually give him a heads up. "Hey, I'm flipping from Clemson to Miami, can you make me an edit with this, that, and the other and I'm gonna announce tomorrow. OK bet, gotta go, I gotta call Mario"

Get all that but still crazy he tweets about it day before

At least Smith tweets his hour or so before
