It is going to get crazy! Not sure how much these kids will make, but it will be interesting to see come next year.

Good for the kids to make money and I think this will help us. But ****, if you think Twitter games are bad now during recruitment, just wait until they can capitalize on it.

This topic was discussed on Flagrant 2 the other day lol.

Not in regard to college football, but that, moving forward talent + clout (ability to get attention) was going to be more important than just talent. Being able to market yourself will become an entry point to getting your talent recognized.

Most will need to stand in line behind the professional athletes. Kids in non professional team settings will be the most successful.
I disagree.
Question:
If Alabama and USCw are playing for a Natty, which QB will have the opportunity to be more successful?

For the most part, you are probably right.
Miami, USC and ND are the outliers when they're playing well.

Teams in big cities will benefit the most because that's where players wanna be.
I agree...Miami, LA (USC and UCLA), and Austin will gain. Some marquee cities won't see an uptick like Boston, NYC or Chicago as they have mediocre teams there. Former powerhouses like Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, etc. will suffer. This will be a huge shift in CF

I understand your logic but oklahoma is a current powerhouse!

One question I haven’t seen addressed is the intellectual property rights. I assume a player has to obtain the rights to use his school’s name, team name, logos, uniforms, etc? Is this addressed in future scholarships, i.e. contracts? D’Eric King might get paid as a social media influencer, for a standard advertisement, or for appearance but the moment he is “Miami Hurricane QB D’Eric King” the school’s getting a taste somehow.

Interesting times indeed.

Hopefully The U is ahead of the curve on this...
