Way too early College Football Power Rankings for 2016: Lots of SEC

High ranking, you would have to think the prestige of having an establish head coach like Mark richt is making an impact on how appealing the canes are as well as the fact that we return a bunch of starters while adding 3 would be starters who didn't play last year in gus Edwards, Darrion Owens, Gerald Willis. We only lost 2 starters on offense, 2-3(bush, howard, and kamalu who was a somewhat starter) on defense.

Notre Dame: Brian Kelly finished his eighth 10-win season as a coach despite massive injury issues. He gets back quarterback Malik Zaire to go along with a surprisingly efficient DeShone Kizer. The toughest ACC games are Texas, Michigan State, Miami and USC. The Irish should continue to be a playoff contender.
For some reason, I don't think Texas, MSU, and USC is in the ACC lol

He is just trying to be one of the first to say "I told you so" once we start winning again by putting it in print.
Probably will spin it as Miami is now like an SEC team with an SEC coach.

Miami's program, or any other school quite frankly, shouldnt be evaluated for a "ranking" until several games into the season. In this regard, I think it's one of the many things the CFP committee does well.

Rank Miami pre-season #1 in the Universe or just begind the UC Santa Cruz Fighting Banana Slugs (yes for real).

It's all meaningless until the program can outcompete others in small and big games. Just run an appropriate program and win...EVERYTHING will take care of itself long term.

So true, and hopefully one day we are so good in a few seasons that we are ranked so high every year in preseason polls that we end up ranked even if we suck....and ensure a top 4 if we are good. dream a little dream.

It gives us some bs to talk about

Preseason ranking talk will help recruit as well.

Just helps paint the picture.

new coach, new d, new bad *** stadium, more season tickets sales, going to be ranked, all these other schools up north are going to be killed by blizzrds, Saban going pro, les is getting fired

I don't want to be on ranked on Dennis Dodd's Way too early College Football Power Rankings for 2016 until we prove we can STAY ranked on Dennis Dodd's Way too early College Football Power Rankings for 2016.

So you dont like painting pretty positive pictures for recruits? Seeing us next to FSU can only be positive over the next month.

Any coach with a pulse would have beat Fsu last year and the previous year before with Miami's roster
