Lewis visited DeMarco Jenkins this spring and @DMoney is a big fan of his tape. Same area of Texas as Cam Ward and this may help us. @Peter Ariz says TAMU already involved in this recruitment. He committed to Miami on May 30, 2026 during his OV.

I guess we’ll know that answer with this current freshman class. I could be wrong but I don’t think any of the DTs we signed last year were north of 300 lbs. if those guys develop, gain good weight and are able to contribute, then that approach works

Im not sure they really after the big 320 pound players. They are really not 2 gapping. Its one gap and get up field. And the back 7 fill. It seems they rather get the guys with natural athleticism then add weight and see how much they can carry.

Correct. Only DTs listed at north of 299 on the roster are Ahmad Moten (300 exactly) and Justin Scott (303). Next highest is Jarquez Carter @ 288 & Stancil @ 285.
