Every year it is the same thing, we all think Jimmy Johnson, Michael Irvin, Edgrin James, etc are walking through that door. We are not an elite team, maybe top 15-20 team that's it. We have a poor OL and no QB. Mark Richt will never be fired for a number of reasons but the number 1 reason is because he is consider a top talent in CFB and if we fired him after a 10 win season and winning the coastal then no coach in America would come here and coach (not that they were lining up before). The glory days are gone and will never happen again, we may catch magic in a bottle and win another MNC but it would be a one off like FSU did a few years ago we will never again dominate.

This is our reality.

Possibly, but it all starts with a solid offensive line. This line isn't good enough.

We still have a terrible OL and ST’s. An OC isn’t fixing that ****.
 
The reality is football is a business and you are not going to attract the most highly skilled workers (the players) or maintain your customer base (the fans) if your product (the team) is bad. You don't blame kids you blame the people responsible for their development and you don't wait until things get worse to analyze the situation and quickly make changes to improve the product.

Not with our QB’s. They either need to burn JW’s redshirt or tell everyone he not the second coming of Christ. Then we could go after a blue chip kid. Right now the recruits think we have a blue chip kid

The reality is we haven't played a good game all season. Take an honest look at the schedule, we've had at least one terrible quarter vs every team we played except Savannah St. This is not a good football team.
 
It's incredibly disheartening to come out flat again like we did last night.

I do still believe however that Miami can dominate again and that we aren't that far off.

Terrible start to the night from his young QB but I think he pulled him too quickly. If this means we are back to Rosier as our QB then we all know exactly what to expect the rest of the year.
 
We also now see why we rode the Rosier Pony so long - and it scares me if Perry is the best of the rest.

We have a pretty good defense but how long before the D-Coach gets lured away?

We are awful on O-line, Special Teams and QB Play = NOT ELITE

This resembles more of a rebuilding year with more losses lining up. What we did for recruiting after FSU, we threw away last night.

Stop with the elite crap. We have more than enough talent to cruise the coastal with a competent coaching staff. The talent gap is on that side now. MR and his church friends on offense are not on par with any top 20 team. His 5 plays and one alignment formation may have work 30 years ago.. His offensive play calling, lack of schene, motion or creativity is dragging this team.
 
Not a **** thing delusional about expecting a better team than the previous year . Did not expect a NC this year but I do expect improvement . If anything this team has regressed this season. As fans who have supported t his team wee expect more not less each season. Please tell me how that is delusional. I seriously doubt if anyone on this board has been a fan longer than me and it is turning into one of the more disappointing seasons ever.

Bruh, we haven’t had a “competent “ coach since Jimmy. Butch was a great talent evaluator but left a lot to be desired. I ain’t even gonna talk about the other two dudes. I would like for us to get another OC though for obvious reasons

It wasn’t too long ago that I was **** near in tears rooting for my Canes with Shannon and Al in charge. I’m not happy but....
