This distinction b/w meaningful and meaningless games is what matters. Roche and Jaelen played in the games that mattered and then opted out. Rousseau opted out a whole season for “Covid reasons”. If I’m pointing fingers, it’s at Rousseau, and even then, I could see myself making that same decision in his shoes.

Can you please explain the difference between "the school" and "the administration," and then provide specific examples as to how either doesn't care about the program?

I'm sure you spent years living and working on campus to have formulated a thoughtful viewpoint on this matter.

You sound like a mediocre first year law student at a mediocre law school. "explain the diffference between x and y, then provide specific examples' - LMAO. In some other post just today, you're whining to another posted about how he's picking through your comments and taking them out of context lol.

Meanwhile, you really aren't embarrassed to go out with the ultra ghey 'how much did you donate' question? are you unaware of how pathetic that retort is? do you think you're more credible because you donated a few dollars? or is it you just want everyone here to know how you roll?

Phillips and Roche didn't cost Miami a **** thing regarding OSU. You can blame Baker's (Diaz's) trash *** defensive scheme, Wiggins dropping passes, and Pope dropping passes. Even with the SEC refs calling PIs on everything there was still a chance to win that game. At least they didn't opt out at Halftime like that Wallace moron. His draft stock is screwed now.

The chances of getting hurt like King did in a bowl game are slim to none, but it’s easy to say or think that until it happens to you. Opting out of a meaningless bowl game isn’t a big deal. These kids have worked their whole lives and now that the big check and their dreams are right in front of them they should be allowed to make that business decision.

Spare me the whole “letting your team down“ thing. Nobody will remember who won the Cheez It Bowl outside of the teams who played in it in a year or two. I actually think it was a good thing the young guys got an entire game of experience at DE. It also gave the staff the chance to evaluate where we are and address an issue that might’ve not been seen as one before then.

The only people who let their team down are the ones who opted out of the season.

It’s only letting ur team down if ur opting out and the game meant something. Beating Oak State means nothing. Them going actually have young guys reps for next season when they will be playing. So if anything it helped. 15 and 2 had nothing more to prove. They came preformed helped our team now go get paid
