Defensive tackles

Only at UM could a guy who won a Lombardi and was the #1 pick in the draft(where he had a very good NFL career), not be on the 1st team all-Miami team. But Im a huge fan of 'the Dancing Bear', Russell Maryland

That's the point. How do you pick among Brown, Sapp, Maryland, Wilfolk, and Kennedy? And that's not even mentioning the older guys like Ruben Carter, Jim Burt, Lester Williams. Didn't Kennedy and Maryland actually overlap a year or two at Miami?

yes, Maryland played from 87 to 90, while Kennedy came from juco, and played 88 and 89..Started together in 89, with Jimmie Jones( who had a nice NFL career) as the 3rd DT

Fast forward to about 4:04 into this video and watch #96.

This guy is a giant athlete. Sounds like all of our DTs except for Holley could play the 4 in an intramural basketball league and dominate. A bunch of Charles Barkleys at DT and a couple of DEs with the floor of Julius Peppers. It sounds unreal but just look at Jon Ford from last season.

Miami's dt legacy is nmatchwed in all of cfb by a wide margin... you could take Miami's dt legacy againt the entire history of leagues like the big ten and have an argument *** Polly win.
