Defensive Staff Offering WRs??

Does anyone know why the last 3 offensive players offered got their offers from Patke and Baker?

Maybe this is common practice depending on what their connection to the kids schools or areas are, but wouldn’t common sense be for Lashlee or someone else from the offensive staff to extend these offers?

Area recruiters, not position recruiters.

These offers are coming from Cooney and DVD. The area recruiters are visiting schools in those areas. Thus, they are getting @‘d by the recruit.

Assistant coaches are usually assigned an area to recruit locally and nationally. A wr coach could be responsible for a section of Palm Beach County and say Eastern PA and NJ. That's how relationships with high school coaches and people plugged into a region get developed. A position coach might have say on prioritizing a particular recruit over another based on film, but by and large the position coaches dont go around acting as the primary recruiter for guys at their position.
