I did not. read my post. I clearly said 100% or close. People keep expecting X coming back to solve the pass D but it's looking like that's not happening. This is a year long problem from drive 1.

So going down our 2 top corners is "close to 100%?"

Now again, everyone agrees it needs to and SHOULD improve, but throwing out random statements as fact only digs the hole deeper....

USC had the 110th pass defense when they won it all in 2003
OSU had the 95th ranked pass defense in 2002....
LSU had the 60th ranked pass defense in 2019.
Bama was at 74th in 2020

Ideal? absolutely not. Impossible? absolutely not.

We’re also terrible at tackling. Last I checked we’re in the100’s. Teams ranked that low typically don’t win titles.

Honest question but have you said a positive thing about this team all year? Feels like you're going to be the first one to dance on graves if/when we drop a game.

7th overall defense. Top 20 in almost every category but one. Let’s not celebrate. Rather let’s focus on the only low ranked stat and argue about CB1, CB2 and CB3 being out most of the year and whether or not that’s the reason.

We had a Freshman All-American safety playing CB the last several games.

the problem with our pass D is even Stanford from game 1 when we were 100% or close was still picking us apart

our psycho DC needs to figure this out ASAP. Only 2 more games before ND.

Figure what out? Notre Dame isn't tt or Louisville or smu or wake! Do we have issues yes, but Notre Dame isn't the team to exploit it! At least fsu had duce and danzy.

Multiple things can be true at once. Every DC in America would be big time hampered by our injuries. At the same time, our zone schemes and tackling have been poor.

Every game this year our tackling has been mid at best. That is a noticeable change from last year, healthy or not.

I’ve said a lot of positive things about the team but unlike you I take my meds for my bipolar disorder. That way I don’t have to get banned monthly like your crazy ***. It’s ok to state things that are concerning that’s fair , this is America.

Yes it should. X is back so the secondary is basically at 100%. Not much difference between X, OJ, and Ethan. Can't kick the can down the road anymore.
