Defensive Backs - You Guys Are Over Thinking It

There's some odd stuff being said on this board right now about Diaz, Dee, the whole defense ect. The reality is the current situation is exactly the way it is because we have no cornerbacks thanks to Mike Rumphs 2016 and 2017 recruiting. There just isn't any depth, hence why were getting murdered in a 4-3 despite Toledo putting more wide receivers on the field. Sadly enough our linebackers are better coverage than the zero depth we have at defensive back. This isn't a Manny Diaz issue, this is a cornerbacks recruiting issue that's playing out on the field. You guys are overthinking this.

I don't disagree but this is Toledo. They don't necessarily have tons of depth at wr either. Put your best cb on their slot #25 and make them beat you with other guys.
