Not an expert by any means but after 4 games what are you thoughts on most of our best players are not starting and should play more.

I also believe the we have a great future on that side of the ball with disruptive type players

Safety:
Bubba - looking forward for next Saturday. The pedigree and measures are there
Smith - how long until he is ready! Will compete for the starting job with Bubba and Hall for the next couple of years

Corner:
Blades - should start along Bandy - although he is getting lots of paying time

LB:
Brooks - how long? Maybe next year but the speed and the upside is huge here.
Huff - not this year but will be following him as well.. the upside.

DE - major debate here
Rousseau - should start period. Most disruptive player on defense and future star
Hill - that man is ready and this Saturday must be the start of dominance and major push for Draft value

DT - the run stop is there but we are not getting to the QB as the previous two years with RJ and Willis
Miller - has looked great and could push for major minutes
NY Kids - they are raving about them.. how long until the become a force? Maybe next year.

Striker - Romeo was good last year and he is a solid player
Gilbert - has looked good and his measurement and athleticism will improve this position

Future is bright and ready to beat VT *** next Saturday.

Romeo has been great for us. Disagree there no disrespect at all Gilbert is a good one.

Agree kind of on DE. Greg needs more time and so does hill but Garvin may also be victim to the scheme.

DT Miller needs more run but who knows on the conditioning.

Brooks and huff are more athletic but they don’t have the brains yet maybe.

Corner is a wash. All have looked good at time and not so good at times. Blades has been solid tho and I’m pleasantly surprised.

At safety I think bubba will grow into being our best option. Hopefully him and gurvan can be on the field together

Get this man a job writing for Saturday night live.

Mostly agree. Our young guys all have tremendous upside. Frierson has looked good and our d line been solid for the most part, but the dt's have taken a step back w/o Willis. I feel more optimistic about our D than the offense by a wide margin right now.

I think we are as talented on O except of course the OL

about snaps..it’s not about starts. But snaps

I've explained this here before. We won't know how great they are because of the scheme they're forced to play in. We'll have to wait for them to get into the NFL and really put it all together after a few years in the league to know how their potential. You need to revert to donofrio mode.

Mostly agree. The biggest head scratcher is Rousseau. Since our 2 losses were sealed with 20 seconds and 12 seconds respectively, one could make the argument that by not starting or at least playing Rousseau more, that may have very well been a deciding factor.

Regardless, the point is it's obvious that he's our best DL so by not playing him a starter's share of snaps, we are limiting game changing and game affecting plays on D. Lot of other good points by the OP, but not starting Rousseau is truly astounding at this point.

Agree with all except LB's and Striker. Everything is A OK with me.

I'm not going to read the OP, because the answer is obvious. Of course we do. The best players are always on the bench. Always.

I agree. What’s the breakdown in snaps the last two games and who is on the field on 3rd and mid to long. DLine rotates so starting isn’t that big of a deal in my opinion.
I know 15 had been getting much more burn along with hill
