I think they will be a closer group of guys...not saying better just a closer group

I think Kamalu will play primarily at DT.
I think there is absolutely no chance that Wyche starts at DT.
I think McCord should be moved back to DE where I think he can excel. If he stays at LB, I think he struggles and will not be a starter.
I think Elder will start at CB over Howard.
I think they will keep Johnson at S.
I think Jenkins starts in front of Crawford.
 
SDE: C. Thomas or Kamulu
NT: Heurtolu/Wyche or Jenkins
DT: Moten/Kamulu
WDE/Rush end: AQM/T. Harris

SLB: McCord or Owens
MLB: Kirby/Young/
WLB: Grace/Gayot

CB: Elder or Howard
CB: Burns/ depth scares the **** out of me
FS: Jenkins/J. Johnson
SS: Bush/ Carter
 
They aren't moving McCord back to DE when they have only 3 LB's who saw significant action last year. He may play some DE on passing downs, but will be a LB mostly.

I like the list all except DB. I believe Rayshawn Jenkins should be higher up. 3rd or 4th if healthy which ive heard he is.

Depth at LB and DB is really really bad .... DB might be ok bc the strength will be the Dline which could help the think DB ranjs
 
based off their play last yr...why is burns a lock to start in all of your opinion? Howard had an off yr, but he is better than burns, and elder showed me more than burns. I still do not see all the fuss on burns. Just potential, and potential and translated into ish

Boom to this. Not sure where all of this Hertolou love is coming from. But he was average at best last year and he didn't even play in the Spring. Wyche looked like the light has come on in the Spring game. I would go to war with him and Kamalu on the inside starting.

I want Thomas on one side and AQM on the other. Hopefully Jenkins or Carter can nap the other starting safety spot opposite Bush.

Depth at DB is really good imo.

Hard to find 7 guys with tons of experience with a stud freshman who was here in the spring.
 
ive given up predicting depth charts with schitzo Al, it almost seems to be in flux minute to minute depending on a plethora of factors, most having to do nothing with football
