- I think ELDER, Redwine, and Colbert will compete for the two starting spots at corner... Colbert is raw but has the size, speed, and athleticism you want in a potential #1 CB. Colbert and Redwine on the outside with Elder at Nickel got potential.

- Also I think J. JOHNSON should be in the mix at both safety positions and nickel until our secondary shakes out a little more.

The best option for this defense is that they get drastically better from game 1 to the last due to them really not having that much time playing real games together the roof could be surprisingly really high
 
I can get with most of those depth charts. Feels good to go into a season confident we can stop any team. Can somebody do a post on what the word is on the guys that came during the summer, Jo Jack, Finley, Richards.......etc during workouts?
 
On paper that's by far the best front seven we've had in a long *** time. If we stay healthy in the secondary we should be fine there, too.

Coaches seem to love McIntosh, he's a sleepe to start over Willis. All 5 DT's will play a lot though

I agree that Gordinier will have an impact as a role player BUT he is not 245. They want him to stay in the 230's.
 
DL's performance will dictate CB concerns
- if only a small improvement in the past, we will need to outscore teams\
- big jump forward - we will be fine
