We could use a couple more Deejays.
Im feeling this. Its incredibly hard to field an OL that can run block well AND pass block well. At times we run block well, which is why we still play-action from under center. With N'Kosi - who actually play-actions pretty good - its a threat; which is why he had many deep balls that were potentially big gainers but they were just a bit off target. If we had an accurate deep-baller we'd be in serious business. The Oline can run block. It wasn't all Dallas on all of those runs. The Oline can't pass protect for crap. I don't get why we don't run the ball more. Dallas needs 20 carries and Cam another 10 carries but we throw the ball almost on every down. I just don't get this offense
How is this kid top 10 in the country in YPC with this OL? How?Can we talk about this kid again? All he does is go out there and deliver every single week. I thought he did an exceptional job at finding spots to get yards tonight. He has been so slippery this year. Not only is he one of my favorite players on the team, he has quickly become one of the best.
To be fair, they don’t get much burn as it is but regardless Dallas has been balling this year no doubtNot knocking Cam and Lo because I think they can be very good backs as well. But everyone was on their nuts all offseason and its Dallas that's been the best playmaker out of the backfield.
Because running off tackle or power he actually has daylight to run through; and sometimes they're gaping. Dont judge this team's run-blocking by their pass-protection.How is this kid top 10 in the country in YPC with this OL? How?
I posted this in the game day thread. He’s the 6th most productive RB in the ACC and he plays behind this line. Great play by DeeJay.

How he couldnt get carries inside the 5 on multiple possessions is unreal. That stupid end around to Brevin made me want to puke.
Dude is pure Cane.6. Leading rusher DeeJay Dallas made the trip to Pittsburgh to support his teammates. Although he went through pregame warmups, Diaz basically admitted afterward the team knew he wasn’t going to play.
Dallas’ right knee had a thick, black wrap on it, and it was clear watching him work before the game that he’s still dealing with discomfort after exiting the Georgia Tech game.
Still, there’s no doubt Dallas is a true leader for Miami. He was pumping up his teammates both before and during the game.
“Earlier in the third quarter, around like nine minutes, DeeJay Dallas came up to me, and he was like, ‘I heard a wise man say big-time players make big-time plays in big-time games,’” Osborn said Saturday. “(Having him on the sideline made) a big impact. In practice, too. He broke us down twice today, just his voice, his passion. You see the way DeeJay is. He’s a true Cane. It was good to have him on the sideline encouraging us and talking to us.”

No doubt. You get a roster full of DJ's and you are in business.Dude is pure Cane.
Saw him chest bumping (I think) KJ getting him fired up. Love this kid and think he has a future in the nfl. Really hope he suits up this weekend.Dude is pure Cane.
