Would like to see a return of the wildcat on Friday. As we saw, Deejay looks very comfortable running it. Let's get him some more experience with it. IMO, with all of our short yardages struggles, why not use the wildcat? We won't be any worse, but this wrinkle allows for a either a jet sweep or Deejay to pick a hole and go. This may be the cure to short yardage woes. It will also give Clemson something else to plan for. And if we see it I smell a pass coming out of it for a potential huge play against Clemson. Come on Richt, give me the wildcat!

I'd like that too. The wildcat is viable for us because Deejay can also throw it well AND Rosier is athletic enough that you have to assign someone to cover him in case they make him run an easy route. I'm sure the talking sports heads will dismiss it as a gimmick but I think it can cause some serious damage.

I also trust the coaching staff to bring it out when they feel it's appropriate.
 
roll it out again for clemson with just running plays. Then in the playoffs add the pass option.
 
The wildcat needs to be saved for Clemson. The U can beat Pitt straight up and will be in control in the first half of the Pitt game 51-13 Canes! WildCat is a special treat for Clemson...

I think CMR called it his Stampede package, I think he will use it more in situations where he has favorable personel groups on the field and use it uptempo multiple plays in a row trapping that personnel group on the field...The Stampede is something I expect to become more prevalent as Deejay's career goes on. Fully expect him to have a game where he goes for 50-50-50 with a rushing passing and receiving TD before his career is done here.
 
Stay as Vanilla as possible with Pitt. I want to see CMR pull out 5 or so wrinkles against Clemson and the last two teams we will play on our way to the ship. I'm going to watch the old Charlie Ward teams and see if there is anything worth letting it ride in the pants about. He really is growing in to the role of effective play caller getting better every week.
 
It’s not something we need for Pitt. Don’t need to over complicate the game plan.

That’s what’s great about Richt. He has thrown in wrinkles at the right times and hasn’t tried to get too cute.

I’d bet we see some wrinkles vs Clemson.

Would be dope if we run tempo and boom next thing you know Deejay is the QB then next play Malik is QB, my madden self can only dream of that.

I actually think we've been doing this all year. I honestly think coach is keeping some of his favorite plays out of weaker games to save them for bigger games...where the other team doesnt have film on it. The ND and VT game has quite a few plays we either haven't ran yet, or ran since early in the season. It's either that, or he is literally one of the best playcallers in the world in the 4th quarter.
 
Can DJ throw the ball? Any chance he lets DJ just rock one down field like 4o yards?

If he cant throw, why not put like Jeff Thomas back there?

He's got a decent arm from his HS tape, keeps the defense honest in part. Practically his whole **** HL Tape is from the Gun, he's comfortable back there. Randall Cobb esque.
