**** the Yamma Yamma avatar brings back memories. I remember when he used to run around the OB field in his Iron Arrow Jacket. Even when I was younger they would let him rock the mic. Good Times.
 
Everything I have read is that Homer is the hardest working Cane. First in/ Last out. He stepped in and played well last year. I very much doubt that they will remove him from being the starter. I do think his carries will be reduced which is a good thing for all of the backs. You don’t want to become all used up in college.

There won’t be a “ starter “, it will be by committee. Homer and DD will split carries with Lingard taking the extra carries.

Homer and Dallas bring different skill sets to the position , homer is a straight line runner with good speed. Dallas has far better wiggle and vision.

I think Dallas will also be used in multiple facets because he’s the best playmaker of the bunch. He needs touches.....from the return game, the wildcat or the passing game.
 
We're getting closer to where we need to be....Stacked in our game breaking positions.

Our depth at WR is obscene!! We can go big, or small and do both with extreme speed

The way DJ & Lingard are playing will make RB a three headed monster. ALL deserve to start or would be starting on other teams. It gives us a versatility to relentlessly attack any defense.

We need the OL to start matching that quality & depth and it seems that the new frosh are quality additions.

When we finally settle the QB issue this team will take off offensively. We are a QB away from Championship quality offensively.
 
By starter I mean who starts the game. And homer will normally be getting more carries than Dallas or lingard. He’s the number 1 back.

Deejay at 5’10” 220 is a scary thought. He was already showing that special something for the goal line. It might be out of the box but I see him as perfect short yardage back we have been missing. Low center, power, nasty with weight and if he bust the box it is 6 from anywhere on the field. Gentlemen, I think we have Hurricane RB depth again.

The happy thought is that you both might be right. Remember the days when our backups were better than the starters who were 1st round draft picks? Deejay coming back at 220 is game changer - Big, fast, shifty and nasty. And then there is Homer, makes you forget All ACC RB going down early and gets TO Chain twice in his spare time. Then there is that fast guy who just got here. Be happy my friends, we have more than one running backs again.

going away from Dallas l.ost us the wisconsin game, guy was shredding wisky, unfortunately CMR decided to change course and put the game in the hands of Rosier, and the rest is history, he tried to go back to DJ early 3rd quarter but the momentum was gone
 
Share the wealth — Dallas, Homer, and Lingard should all get their fair share of touches. If one is proving to be more effective than their peers, give them more carries. It's as simple as that.
