From what was said..Simpson was strictly due to money right? Hence why Mario has a "I dont hype up freshmen anymore" rule it seems with the media. I think he will be missed more next year imo.

Picked up another sack this past week.

Big game for him this week. If Tulsa wins against Arkansas, especially in convincing fashion, they are in the driver’s seat with the winner of the New Mexico / North Dakota State week 8 matchup and the winner of WMU & Boise, for the G6 playoff spot.

No USF (only other unbeaten American team) on the schedule so they’d have to beat em in the CCG; assuming both teams handle business in-conference.

Tulsa is the only ones with a P4 victory currently; and Ok State beat Oregon. They should want Boise to win against WMU.
 
Kaleb Spencer picked up a pass defended (i.e. PBU) and a sack against Maryland on Saturday. Had 5 solo tackles, one assisted.

Really liked this kid coming out of HS. Hopefully Noah Glover can replicate that for us.

I will always remember this play, me screaming at the TV ("you ******* trader!!" Lol)...the hustle Arroyo showed which was potentially a game saving tackle, was one of the best plays of that season because we stopped them on downs right after this and then scored our next possession!



 
Marcellus Pulliam transferred in to Coastal Carolina from Michigan State. On ESPN right now. Leads the team in total tackles at the half; and on the season. Forced fumble on the year too. He has one year of eligibility left; someone will def take him as he transfers back into the p4

Robby hasn’t recorded stats this year; assuming he’s injured.

PoPo doesn’t look any different athletically than Chase or Mo to me. Yes, the stats look great on paper, but when you watch him, he consistently looks a step behind. Those tackles aren’t tackles for loss or minimal gains, they’re often 3–5 yards down the field. I wish him nothing but the best, but I don’t think he is better than Wiley, Zek, or Pruitt.

I was going to say he’s gave up some bad touchdowns. Making the same mistakes he made against cal in 2024
