Hard to imagine because we recruited CJ Daniels to his spot in 2025. He did lead Alabama in touchdowns (8) although his receiving yards and receptions took a hit when he left.

Honestly I am more than fine with how it played out for both sides w/ Horton and Young the year prior.

Might’ve been better for us in the longterm too because Josh Moore got a lot of run as a freshman and now owns large catch radius red-zone target spot as a sophomore. Keenan’s emergence as the year went on was a real benefit because he was a burner w/ reliable hands and YAC ability. Moreso the fault of Carr, Trader, and Chance for not seizing the opportunity presented to them.

Rob Likens made a good eval w/ IH tho.

Well, one thing is for certain. We are identifying talent at a rate that I'm not sure anyone else is in the country. We have a top 5 team & could have fielded another half decent one with kids who have left.

In a lot of these instances, I feel like our evals were pretty good, but expectations and circumstances change where it makes sense for people to move for a variety of reasons. Key thing is that we aren’t left holding nothing. And we off doing better in many situations.
