RIP. Leonard Myers was part of that great 97 class that included the following if I'm not mistaken....

Mike Rumph
Markese Fitzgerald
Delvin Brown
Santana Moss
Reggie Wayne
Ed Reed
Dan Morgan
Damione Lewis
Kenny Kelly
Najeh Davenport
Larry Anderson
Daryl Jones
Matt Walters
Richard Mercier
Joaquin Gonzales
Ed Wilkins(The Dump Truck)

That was completely from memory. Who did I forget? Who did I list that was from another class?
Was talking to Markese last night

I love this one. At time you posted it my shock was at Phillip’s arms.
When people try comparing dynasties and talking about Bama then Clemson, great teams with great runs and lots of 5 stars but you’ll never see an 85 man roster loaded the same way again. Not possible today.

Phil was the best Cover CB....Rumph the best Tackling CB....Ed was already a Red Shirt Jr in 2000...

One of my closest former UM player friends....I'll be sitting at his table at his UM HOF Induction....

Delvin Brown and Santana played together, but weren't in the same graduating class. Delvin was the year before Santana at CC. I believe Delvin was class of 96 and Santana was class of 97. We played CC, and won both times, in 95 and 96

6 first round picks, and all of them except Rumph had solid to HOF careers in the league.

The man the myth the legend the one and only Jerome Brown. My favorite Hurricane of all time! RIP.
my favorite Cane, my favorite Eagle, my favorite football player and the first professional athlete I remember ever meeting. Loved and admired by two passionate fanbases and never forgotten.

People often forget how good Buchannon was...he was a 1st Team AA in 2000.....Some of his TD returns are the epitome of Filthy....Very underrated Cane...
Underrated here and the NFL. When they finally put him in the right scheme with that Tampa 2, he was very legit in the NFL. Phil was one of my favorite Canes, he could've played for the Dallas Cowhoes and I would've still cheered for him.
