Deandre Bailey is a 6'2" 320 lbs 2014 Monster NT from Tucker, GA is UM interested? Now right off the bat a few things that jump out about this young man are his incredible natural strength and his Race Octane fueled motor that allows him to stick with plays when most big boys would quit chasing. This speaks well to the young man's character as does his violent hands; which he liberally lays on opposing offensive linemen like a Sunday Preacher extolling Fire & Brimstone on his way to instilling a healthy fear of God in ball carriers before he lays them out.
UM can be the first school to offer this under the radar gem, before the summer camp series where I am predicting the SEC will be taking notice of the this Tucker Titan in the trenches.
Bailey plays with exceptional leverage an head placement at the point of attack while shedding blockers easily, he plays in a read - n -react scheme in HS where he is often doubled & tripled team by big ole Georgia country boi's yet he still remains productive whether it is occupying blockers or providing pursuit. Point blank this young man is a cross between former UM player Allen Bailey and current UM player Curtis Porter with hint of mean Georgia dawg in him. An UM has been missing a DT/NT with that Dawg in him for a while, an just like the previously mentioned players who where under the radar types Deandre will turn a lot of heads.
I have put out info on a few DT prospects over the years, but Deandre is really one that I feel UM needs to jump on, especially in a year when UM needs to bring in DT's. I wish the young the man good luck with his recruitment, and who knows we may even see an article or two about this monstrous young man. I also think it doesn't help his recruitment when you Google him and the first thing that pops up is 4 Mug shots (not of him) next to his football picture.
Go Canes!
