In my opinion, the second most important position on the field is edge rusher. That is why those guys are the highest paid defensive players. Stewart is a game-wrecker. He can literally make a defensive coordinator look good all by himself. I think he counts as a star.

I'd rather have Stewart than every coordinator in the country.
 
Might be the best athlete in college football. He’ll get multiple offers of a million or more. He’s worth it.

The best DEs I’ve seen in college in past 25 years was and they were dominant but they never played for a national title or anything like that

David Pollack, Terrell Suggs, Elvis Dumervil, Alex Brown, Julius Peppers, Chris Long

We have been recruiting well and maybe even very well but we're still clearly in a tier 2 level. What do you consider OSU, UGA, Bama, etc to be recruiting at if we're considered 'excellent'?

Can’t do that without collective bargaining.

Nothing is guaranteed in this sport, I was super high on this player but I wouldn’t draft him at this point. Bain is a rare breed man, now looking at Abgoon Carter for my giants that boy is a bust. If you don’t have any power in your hands your done as a DE

I feel where you coming from, but if he comes here getting a proper teacher like JT with our dline depth can only help him succeed and be that potential top 10 to top 5 pick.

He needs help and can get all the help in the world if he comes to UM.
