This is nice. After watching Bain & Mesidor get off the ball all year his film looks slowed down lol. Great pickup but man we are replacing some dudes !
Thinking I agree with this assessment. Just need our OL to be at the right level and that's my only question right now assuming QB gets worked out.He was a bigger priority than Seaton for me, although obviously I wanted both. This is a major get.
2024 offense + 2025 defense = 2026 #6
Bc I made it known by saying”her tattoo”I’m shocked you didn’t say “suck on them female booty cheeks”!![]()
Peeweeeeeeeeee!
Different type de , Bain is more of hybrid who stuffs the run and can still get to the qb . Not some speed rusher only de onlyTed Hendricks and Daniel Stubs (20 sacks as a junior i think ) were pretty darn good DE's for us.
Agree about the fist bucket of top 4 contenders. The cool thing is, all from different conferences (or independent). Texas Tech could easily make it no multi-conference selections in the top 5. That would be pretty cool and not something we have seen in a long time. THIS is when college football is at its finest.Thinking I agree with this assessment. There is no team loaded to the level of 2025 Ohio State with NFL draft picks next year. Maybe Texas.
Thinking Texas, Oregon, Miami, and ND are the cream of the crop. Next bucket, I can't rule out Indiana but I think they lose a few games. Ohio State obviously hard to leave out but they're losing 5 1st rounders and at least 5 more draft picks. Still dangerous with Smith/Sayin but their portal haul is underwhelming. Texas Tech, Georgia, and Ole Miss (if Chambliss is back) will be tough but don't see them capable of winning it all. Maybe LSU with all of the firepower they brought in and continuity on defense. Trenches gonna hold them back though as Lane's teams always do.
I'm not seeing it with A&M. They lose the strength of their OL that we already exposed. KC is gone. And they made some brutal hires at both coordinator spots.
We couldHis first step and explosiveness is better than Bain, he is the type that disrupts even a quick passing attack like Ole Miss because he can get up field in a hurry. Definitely not the functional strength or as good in run support as Bain, but this kid has the makings of an elite DE with a great ceiling at the next level.

Give him Asst HC title and pay the manI'm still not quite sure how we've convinced a first ballot Hall of Famer to coach the DLine for us, but I'm here for it.
Miami has had some **** good DEsYou mean ever , Miami has never had a better de than Bain

If he can be Half Bain or Poor man's Bain we gonna be alright! No one is bain. That's not a criticism.
Imagine going up against ACC Olines! 12 sack season coming! He's about to turn 21 years old, still a lot of room to develop which is scary. 3 sacks in 2024, 9 in 2025... 10+ in 2026?
Huge, huge grab to get this kid following Bain and Messidor. Surprised he didn't go pro tbh but like Moten, he's a top 50 kid now, can be top 20 next year with a monster year. LFG
the ironyComing from the cupcake SEC, he’ll need to adjust to grown man football. JT and Greentree will get him right for ACC ball.
