Whats the draw with Doug Belk? I mentioned it earlier and nobody answered. Houston gave up 35+ points to 3 different G5 programs this year. 2020, and 2019 he was co-dc, and the defense was BAD.

Jimmy Lake from UW should be a candidate. Mario saw first hand how good of a DC he can be. Elite DB coach as well.

I think there is bad blood between those two.

hmmm used to be a recruiting coordinator as well. I dont think he would be brought on as a DC either DL or behind the scenes makes more sense

Never been a DC. Good recruiter 7 years ago, but got a show cause while at UM. With the money we are willing to spend on coordinators, why would we want him at DC? I hope you meant DL.

Never said he came here at a discount. My point is the Oregon deal was pretty close to the Miami deal and coming home was an obvious factor.
