Yeah I get why people were complaining a bit. The preseason concerns are there. We’ve got a lot to clean up

But we annihilated them on the road, no playing with the food, got the backups in. Got some good reps in rotating some key positions

Really just a good night all around

Haaaaa. I think once in a while, it’s nice to crack a few jokes on this forum as long as it’s not severe trolling. I know there’s some sticklers on the forum that feel otherwise, and that’s okay, they can skip those posts or downvote me, it’s fine.

Thought it would be a nice joking way to remind people of Javian Mallory, who I was excited to see in terms of freshmen, and I didn’t see much chatter on him in the days leading up to the game. And what do you know, he looked great in his limited action.

By the second half Blount was winning the 1 on 1 with either tackle. Lightfoot won some as well.
What is interesting to see is how good Lightfoot is against the run. He just has a knack for being in the right spot.

We really need one young DE to step up and win some snaps.

Really like what I saw from Scroggins last year. I know there’s injury and whatnot there but that kid is a big help when he gets back in the mix. Losing Lowe was ****

Yep I really didn’t want to mention his name but that loss hurt because we were 4 deep at DE and DT if he is on the team. I like Scroggins but I don’t know if he's a playmaker or more so a guy who plays really solid and will make the ight play. Of course he’s only a sophomore too.

If we are talking pass rush, Pickett is the guy you want to step up. Did he play last night?

I can understand if Heatherman wanted a vanilla, bend but don't break approach..

Not bad, dut the overall attitude needs to be adjusted to a higher level of violence.

We need tone-setters.
