This is exactly how I feel. To me he doesn’t feel like a P4 coach. I think NFL OC like Golden is where I can see this heading. He deserves it too, he’s been great.

If I’m Dawson I’m staying right where I’m at as long as Miami increases/incentivizes more pay for achieving some goals. I think he’s got it pretty good right now just doing his thing working with QB’s and scheming **** up. Feel like Mario carries a lot of the burdens that make college coaching so hard off the field.
 
Top offensive coordinators are now over $2 mil. No state taxes, Coral Gables, established head coach not going anywhere. Life could be a whole lot worse. In the end probably just depends on if he always wanted to be a head coach. Completely different job. For many you end up doing less of what you love and more stuff that may not be your thing. When the pay was a lot lower jumping for the dough may have made it a no brainer. Tougher call now.
