Dawson VS. Mario

I'm seeing a ton of different takes on who is responsible for the changes in offensive scheme.

Do we have any insiders here that know that Mario is actually meddling in the offensive schem/play calls? Or is this Dawson's show?

Does Tyler's performance have a role in the changes? Or is it the way defenses have adjusted to the desired scheme?

IMO it seems a bit like all of these are factors at play working together in a cyclical dynamic of self fulfillment.

Thoughts?

I remember getting hate in other forums for bringing up the fact that a lot of Houston fans were glad to see Dawson go and that Holgorsen had to take playcalling abilities away from him last year.

Mario definitely has his hands on the run game and may be forcing these constant runs up the middle, but passing is all Dawson.

This is correct.

I give Mario most of the blame for things because he's the head coach but Dawson is no victim in this. He had his issues from the beginning

I just want to know.. is this the same pace he ran at Houston?

I think that’ll answer a lot for me.

And tbh… it’s truly hard for me to 100% judge him while TVD is the starter.
