I mean he has historically built his plays around the slot usage so either we trust upshaw et al to be good enough there or I think we will see at least a few different looks.

Maybe more run variation compared to UNC game to offload a bit

I would view this as the Hetherman referendum. Even with the injuries on defense, there
is no excuse for the defense to be this bad. Cristobal just needs the defense to keep ND under 30. If it can’t even do that when the offense needs merely the tiniest bit of help, take away Hethermans play calling duties and give it someone else as he’s going to get us bounced out of the playoff picture before the end of the season anyways.
 
Oline needs to have a BIG day. Goes without saying every game, but they need to mush ND’s faces in when we run and gotta give Mensah time to scan.

No more time to figure it out and gel. This is the one.

Don’t know if true or not but looked at some ND boards. Supposedly freeman is running D this game. Going to run a lot of man

this is the word since ash has been a disaster it seems.

Regardless, ND hasn't played an offense with a pulse so playing cavebro will be playing into their hands.

Said it on another thread, ND has enough talent to beat anyone but hasn't had a quality win since 2024. Make of that what you will...

If we play fast and disciplined on both sides of the ball we'll be tough to beat. It's not ****, but limiting explosives on D and protecting the football on O is complementary football for us.

I’m guessing it’s Upshaw to the slot and Dre Jacob’s comes into the Y. Wingo is 1st off the bench.
