Davon had 15 points and 5 rebounds against the Jazz yesterday. Nice write-up about the game and a little about him (plus some video clips) from the Suns' SB Nation below. I've been following their game threads the past few days and their fans seem to be really high on Davon. A lot of them are calling for him to be a 20-25 minute type of guy in the regular season. Even in the game the Suns got blasted in a few days back where Davon had a few turnovers they were praising his defense for the day. Glad to see they are embracing him.

Davon dropped 13 today. Couldn't find any other stats. The game thread on SB had a couple mentions of him having a good block, but not much other talk about him. No negative talk though, which is obviously good. Below is UM's write up on all the guys in the Summer league. Kamari seems to be having a small impact in each game. But a small impact is better than no impact so fingers crossed for him. Good thing the Nets blow.

Overall the in the game thread the fans were really high on his summer performance. They all want to see him on the roster, most as the #2 SG. Things are looking good as of now for Davon.

We all know about professional athletes and money issues. But let's just stick to the actual facts (for a moment).

$57 Million in career contracts/earnings before taxes. This doesn't include any money he received from endorsements (not saying he had a personal endorsement contract with Nike), incentives and any team bonuses (like making the playoffs).

Now back to opinions and speculation:

Let's assume he lost 50% of his career earnings to taxes, agent, legal and professional expenses. That brings him to $28.5 Million.

Let's also assume he made ZERO dollars in endorsements, bonuses and incentives.

Also, let's assume all his money sits in an interest account paying almost NO interest.

Finally, let's assume that he spent $8.5 Million over his career in things that have no retention value (gambling, meals, gambling etc.).

That would get him a net worth of $20 Million. None of which is hard to believe.
