There’s only a few who r tried & tested insiders, & when they say “we feel good where we are”, THAT DOES NOT MEAN CANE LOCK! It means we had a fruitful, bountiful conversation & we’ve put ourselves in a good spot like the others to land their commitment. But enough w/ everyone trying to be something they ain’t. I’m tired of seeing the same few knuckleheads getting “insider vibes” for the Summer, constantly changing their handles every fcking year, causing a chit storm. And if u have a problem w/ what I said, come holla at me.

I don’t; which is y I’ve been especially quiet in most of the recruiting threads, but seeing the constant meltdowns by some really cool posters b/c they’ve been led astray by folks who ain’t in the know, is tiresome. I know who’s in the know & who’s not, I don’t even need to speak on that. I’m specifically referring to those who r looking for that status. It’s like Dan Sileo Jr keeps recreating himself every yr.

I will say that I know she is a friend of the program w/ solid sources. That said, the "drive by" middle fingers can certainly come across as disrespectful, especially when it's in response to a tame (but potentially incorrect, or at least perceived that way based on her info) comment.

Which speaks to three possibilities:

1) NIL has been upped elsewhere and we stayed pat

2) We’re planning a late charge and flipping with bumped up NIL very late in the game (kind of like bidding on EBay on the final seconds)

3) Mario lost the cache of hope and optimism that he had a year ago


If you were Mitchell’s parents…do you not consider the fact that he’ll be competing (potentially) with:

Arroyo
Skinner
Williams
Carver
Lofton

Again, it is a LOADED room already.

I agree with a lot of this but are insiders saying “Cane lock” and “Cane” or is it just regular posters? I see regular posters do that - oh wait, I do see one semi-insider post stuff like that. The rest are regular Joe’s on here. I don’t think it’s rampant amongst insiders but I easily could be missing it.

If Insiders are changing their handles surreptitiously, I’m not recalling that.

1mur said NIL isn’t the case in this situation. He said we’re not selling the vision well on offense.

I think NIL has been an issue in some of these in the sense that others have caught up and maybe some are outbidding us.

I think last year was very detrimental to us. I don’t like banking on the “we’ll just flip guys” strategy.

As to Mitchell’s parents and our loaded TE room, like I said, I get that he’s a luxury and for whatever reason went elsewhere but there’s a pattern of missing top targets this cycle thus far - that’s more concerning at this point with the exception of Riley.

We still have a number of top guys out there and can have a really good to great class if things go our way from here on out but right now, I’m not seeing it and 25% of July is gone.

#1..... Dude did say that OU has been recruiting him the longest out of any school and he's visited there more than any school. Sooo uhh, could that have been the deciding factor? I don't buy that the staff dropped the ball on his recruitment because of unclear plans of usage. I mean, how long did Mitchell figure that out? Hours before his decision?? Oooh snap, I just figured that Miami won't know how to use me! Even though I put them in my top 2 and they've been recruiting me all summer long.

#2.... I.... really did not know you guys honestly felt so much towards emojis. Like. I 100% did not know it had that much of an effect on you guys emotions. Like you can be having the best day ever, get on this site, see a laughing emoji or a middle finger and now your feelings change? Sheesh.

So with that being said, I will take responsibility and be more careful to what and how I react to you guys because I really thought y'all could careless about that type of stuff and I personally wouldn't want to ruin anyone's day.

I think major problem is that....we don't have ENOUGH reaction emojis lol. We need more options to express our feelings. Maybe I don't want to use the middle finger (I personally never used it) but maybe there's no other closer option lol

But for real though, I don't know why you guys even added that one. Y'all should have known that a **** middle finger would cause trouble lol
