2026 Davon Benjamin 4* CB from Westlake Village, CA (Oaks Christian)

You got to love what Miami's staff is doing in recruiting this off season. I will say it again, their best recruiting off season yet at Miami and that's say something. Let's do some serious closing in the next month and a half. Oaks Christian has put out some talent and not just for Mario.

if he is i woneder at what position?

i know mario is tight with the coach and we will have good intel on him though either way.

i would think these guys would be higher priorities:

i like benjamins film a good bit i'd take him in the class

Corner I believe, but a kid I can see at either. I believe Gaby said that Benjamin said he wants to play corner.

I think this is what we are looking at for 3 remaining spots (May only be 2 spots or maybe even 4, if it's the right kids, esp if limits expand) The * are kids I think are definitely near top of board jmo, I may be off obviously on the pecking order

CB:
Kennon*
Satterwhite
Jennings
Odem

DB:
Stewart*
Fitzpatrick*
Benjamin*
Hester

S:
Fort
D.Jackson
Redding
Webb
Aguirre (LB?)

No idea yet on some of the new offers, Brunson/Burns/Dyer, etc…Or a couple guys I haven't read updates on in a while (A.Clarke, Crutchfield, N. McCoy, K.Hall, etc…)

Of the current commits, Portis is a guy I could see being a nickle or at least moving around, where as the other two are corners for sure.

If there is a time when we can land a top CB out of Cali, its under Mario. Because them kids usually stay out west.

I am guessing, Kennon, Fitzpatrick and Jennings are in this class. If they take 3. I need to watch some more tape on Odem. I have only seen a few snaps of his. I think Miami is going to kill this DB class. Their are many options they have a shot at and be in very good shape.
And this is all in addition to Seatbelt
