2027 Davin Davidson 3* QB from Sarasota (Cardinal Mooney)

Already passed Monds in the rankings. 700 + spots. It’s in the other thread about him. Literally posted that we’re gift wrapping him to UF with this Trent Seaborn infatuation.
I mean it is HS QBs. So, odds are none of these dudes ever starts a game for the Canes. I like both Seaborn and Lawrence better.

Just say you’ve never seen him throw then because there is no way you watched his tape and thought Seaborn was better. He’s probably going to pass Seaborn in the next update.

And Lawrence isn’t even in this class.

I don’t get what we’re doing with high school QB recruiting. We love brining in tiny QBs who need years to physically develop. Seaborn ain’t it plus he’s committed to Bama. For the love of god go after QBs with physical tools you can’t teach, like this kid. Plus he’s in state. Get it done Dawson.

I remember seeing that post and I agree that Miami ie Dawson should move on from Seaborn.

It does seem Mario is all in on this kid though, no way he spends 4 hrs at his HS if he is a plan C. But then again it’s Mario and he may actually do some crazy **** like that.

The school that worries me is Texas not UF, they got the money and they got kids believing the lies that Sark is some kind of QB Savant. Wish we could/would nail this down asap.

Saw this on Gates On3 board. Hope we close the deal soon because it sounds like he is going to blow up.

Also Gates new S&C is working them boys hard while the last one treated it like a country club. 😂
Are the early teams to watch the five schools he plans on visiting in March?

I’m more worried about Texas with Neiman. UGA and more so UF is my biggest worry here. I think UF knows that they’re going to need to spend a ton early for this Sumrall hire to work and they beat us to the punch here.

Samuel L Jackson What GIF by Coming to America

As January came to a close, five schools have emerged as early standouts — all from the SEC.
“I know I am going to get to Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, Kentucky and back to Florida in March,” Davidson said. “I have their spring schedules, so in February, I will work out what days we will visit. The dates aren’t locked in yet, but the plan is to make a long trip and see those five schools.”
Growing up in Florida and attending games in Gainesville, Davidson says the SEC has always stood out.
“Those atmospheres are different, and they have stuck with me,” he said. “SEC football is great. I am still open, but SEC schools are the most on my mind in terms of the environment and the culture they carry.”

All those atmospheres were pretty quiet in January while we were still playin ball.

Qoute is from Gaby earlier this week.

At quarterback, Miami really likes Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney's Davin Davidson. The 6-foot-6.5, 215-pounder has emerged as a national name in January with multiple major brands offering, including Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Louisville, alongside Miami.

The Hurricanes extended a new offer on Wednesday to Chandler (Ari.) signal-caller Will Mencl, who is originally from Fort Lauderdale. The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder will be a name to know for the program moving forward.

Miami is still engaged with Alabama commit Trent Seaborn, but there is a sense that he's pretty locked in with the Tide, though his camp remains open-minded to Miami as an option.”

Starting to sound like the board is shifting towards Davin.

Impressive prospect but if he's planning to pursue baseball at the college or pro level, then we need to bring in a second QB. I don't trust a QB who does both.
