David Thompson raking at Cape Cod

Checking on some of the U guys playing summer ball. Thompson seems to be the only one playing in Cape Cod and has hit his way to being one of the best guys at the plate--top 5 or 6 in all important hitting categories: avg,RBI, HR, hits, runs. I see he was the Coca Cola player of the week and is in league MVP consideration half way through. Good for him, because he didn't hit for **** during the ACC Tournament/NCAA Regional.

That being said, summer league ball is overrated.
