These dopes act like The Joke Man hasn't done anything on the field. He had a pretty **** good sophomore season. Winslow didn't really blow up until his junior season. Njoku and Herndon will be monster weapons here.

Between Coley, Berries, Hondo, Njoku, and the freshmans WRs, we will have a deadly passing offense.

These dudes are sleeping if they think Richt won't carve up opponents with that group. Not to mention, we have two of the best receiving RBs in college football.

I think the only question is, will Kaaya be able to stand upright long enough to get the ball into those dudes hands. The OL will be improved, but it's definitely the weak link on offense until proven otherwise. Hopefully Searls earns every dime of that paycheck.
 
Answer me this. How will this line be worse than last year? Better coaches across the board. Better play calling, which will make a line look better. More experience across the line. I think the line will be fine.

The OL will be fine.
 
Njoku had four drops and 19 receptions last year for a drop percentage of 17.4%. That's one of the highest drop rates in the entire country.

Then, he dropped a couple more in the Spring game. In many ways he is still an athlete playing football and not a natural pass catcher. Will he put in the work to be great? I think he will, but he has things to prove.

OJ Howard is probably a few rounds higher than Jake Butt for NFL personnel men. I can't imagine any team takes him over Howard. I believe Njoku needs to come back after this season and then position himself for a first round selection in 2018.

And he might have 6 drops this year, but I'd be willing to bet he has 35 catches+.

Howard was known for drops too and basically disappeared from Bama's offense until the championship game. Everyone's still caught up in that one performance.
 
I think Njoku is pretty close to Howard in terms of athleticism and ceiling, if we start feeding him 4-5 times a game down the seam and on crossers he could put up some massive numbers. As for the drops, he seems like one of our hardest workers, so I imagine he will be putting in the time. I think his production could have been a lot better with a competent OC and a more consistent game plan. I think Kaaya proved with Clive that he can put a tight end who struggled with drops early in his career in the early rounds draft conversation, and that was as a freshman.

Butt is a solid player but I think if his last name was Smith he wouldn't be as big a deal, he just happened to have gone viral.

Evan Engram is a really nice player but feels more like a jumbo slot receiver than a true tight end, not convinced he could clear someone out of the hole as a blocker. Reminds me of Duarte from UCLA last year, or Orson Charles when he was at Georgia.

Leggett from Clemson seems to be a system guy just like Dwayne Allen before him.

Hodges is a red zone threat but his ceiling isn't as high as Njoku or Howard.
