With UM looking for additional WR's for the 2014 Class lets take a look at 6'4" 217lbs 2014 WR David Njoku from Cedar Grove, NJ. Canesider had a brief interesting write up on him written by Tex.
I added the following:
Njoku just decommited from Rutgers over the weekend or they dropped him , the story is influx, bottom line he is back on the market. But based on the article they say he doesn't have a UM offer.

Then a day later there is this article which states he has a UM offer, leads one to believe that Njoku decommitted on his own.

Other than him growing into a TE, I think there is better talent in S.Fla and he must likely doesn't have a commitable UM offer despite being a 2014 NUC All-American for both football and Track. He is also the New Jersey High Jump champion with a personal best of 7 feet.

But if we can't get a S. Fla WR to commit and early enroll then this kid is a very good plan B+.

The more I watch Njoku's highlights the more he grows on me as a possession receiver and red-zone threat.

One very interesting thing is that on most sites his 40yd time is listed as 4.7 Seconds, yet in his highlights he list himself as 6'4" 217lbs with a 4.47 second 40 yd time which is very different from 4.7 seconds and based on his SR yr highlights I think its more toward the 4.47 seconds from the way he accelerates away from defenders pursuing him.
He reminds me of a bigger Leonard Hankerson who was a game changer for UM at WR during the randy shannon era.
