Word out in Texas is that the NIL deal that Hicks received was massive, and is causing internal dissension with the blue chip DL recruits that A&M got in 2022. Shemar Stewart and two others were cited as likely to enter to the portal in the off-season. Take it for what it’s worth.

Shemar specifically was cited as wanting to return to S Florida. Overton was also mentioned as entering the portal as well.

Any word on what Hicks received? It’s only been a few months since Stewart and Overton got their deals.

That's what happens when you hire a bunch of mercenaries. Hope that doesn't happen to us in a year or 2. Although I don't think NIL deals will be getting bigger here.

Maybe, maybe not. If Shemar is willing to bail on a decision he had multiple years to make that quick, will he really help? We talk about culture and then want to take a kid that quit because someone else got paid more? The kid got paid a bunch, he should stick it out.

Lol Shemar had a “bigger” NIL deal with us out of his own mouth….

Guess lack of playing time and now more recruits coming in making more money than him is making him open his eyes

But how much did Moe get paid by TAMU ? They played ball with that fat f*** while we refused if I recall so fat Moe was/is the key. He has a hold on Shemar mentally. Pretty pathetic tbh.
