I'm tired of BS statistics that show how good we are.

Beat FSU and I will believe.

Nothing more, nothing less.
 
it means that we have the second hardest schedule (by the numbers) in the NCAA. now people who hate golden and hate the program will make excuses as to why our opponents have such a high winning percentage, but regardless of how you feel on it, it’s still a pretty interesting statistic and would be pretty ignorant for people to ignore that but yet critique the team non stop

SOS doesn't mean **** if you're losing. Arkansas is in the SEC west, should they appreciate Bielema(0-5)?
 
Jesus Christ! We are THIRD in the Coastal, SEVENTH in the ACC as of now. Of course, that will change with the guaranteed win over Free Shoes Saturday! THEN, we will be...uh...still THIRD in the awful Coastal, but SIXTH overall in the ACC!

But Golden gets it!

strength of schedule doesn’t matter if you lose? i agree with you that it doesn’t excuse us being 6-3. we should be 7-2 or 8-1 100% definitely should have beaten georgia tech and louisville was a downer. but how can the teams you play only matter half the time, i.e when you’re winning. thats a convenient double standard for a moper don’t you think?

so if we lost to texas state or we lost to alabama it would be the same with your logic? because losing doesn’t matter with strength of schedule right?

if every team we played was undefeated and we lost to them, it wouldn’t matter..hmm

does the same work in reverse when we beat solid teams? if we beat fsu saturday? or will we find another reason why that will not matter? or better yet if we lose to FSU, is that the same as losing to middle tennessee state? we’re not supposed to excuse a loss to FSU and I surely won’t..we need to beat those ******** in Tallahassee, but you can’t take away from the team and say who they lost to doesn’t matter.

I love the mopers on here. it’s an easy stance to dislike like the program and twist everything negatively. the hard thing to do (for some people) is to actually appreciate the team.

Yeah, you're right. 6-3 is pretty good considering our schedule. Claiming that winning games emphasizes our SOS is a double standard that I certainly don't want to perpetuate. Hope we can finish 7-5 or 8-4 with our tough ACC coastal sched. Go Albert!

1. We actually played an FCS team with 2 wins. Not including them is downright idiotic.
2. While I understand that's what this stat did, that means we are 5-3, which, for those keeping track at home, is even worse than 6-3.
3. It still just proves the point that we usually do not beat good teams.
4. The number tweeted includes FSU, and we haven't even played them yet, but it doesn't include the other teams we have yet to play.
5. If we lose to FSU, we will be 5-4 against teams that "count" in our opponents winning percentage (what an idiotic way to calculate something that means nothing).
6. 5-4 is ******* pathetic.
 
This has GOT to be the only fanbase that actively seeks ways to diminish praise heaped onto the program by the media lol

SOS is worthless if that opponents opponents are garbage. That's always been my argument against 94 Nebraska. They played a schedule full of teams with beast records, but those teams played baby soft schedules themselves which boosted their wins.

Miami is undefeated against FBS teams from the 13 original colonies except Georgia. Facts are just facts.

or the one fanbase not full of complete retards? i've read plenty of threads on here to know that is not the case. i can't explain it.

your opponents winning percentage goes up when YOU lose to them and down when YOU beat them The more your lose the higher the percentage. Hand 3 more loses on our opponents and the number goes down.
 
Same miserable posters in here as every thread turning everything into a negative. F-ck why even wake up in the morning.
