Ah yes I remember him. Safety I believe.Yes, so did the principal at this kids HS. His HC is Tom Zbikowski.

Since 2023 Mario and staff have gotten more 5 Star Commitments from DL & OL than any other team in the nation.Staff is elite at hitting in the portal. 5 star recruits, not so much save for the occasional pull
I don't think it was the principal who went to ND, it was the president Dan Santucci who was an OG for the Irish from 2004-2006.Yes, so did the principal at this kids HS. His HC is Tom Zbikowski.
That’s great, but arguably our biggest need in this class is defensive line and so far we’re taking big Ls on all the top end talent we’ve been chasing at both DT and DE.We got 3 of those already.
#2 QB
#2 CB
#3 WR
and it's May.
We have the top LB prospect on our board in good shape to commit to us next week and the top IOL target on our board the day after.
Believe it or not we are actually in a pretty great spot.
so when do we start asking questions about the staff members leading these recruitmentsI take no pleasure in saying this, but these are the kinds of recruiting losses that show up in the fall. D-line recruiting has slipped the last few cycles, and I’m concerned about who replaces Moten and Scott.
Letting the facts get in the way of a good narrative is very un-Amurrican sir!Since 2023 Mario and staff have gotten more 5 Star Commitments from DL & OL than any other team in the nation.

But hey, we’ll probably land that 3 star 205 lb project from Ga that JT just visited!!!!That’s great, but arguably our biggest need in this class is defensive line and so far we’re taking big Ls on all the top end talent we’ve been chasing at both DT and DE.
Mario is relentless when it comes to recruiting. If we’re not happy with the results, I’m sure he isn’t either, and I’m confident he’ll make the necessary changes.so when do we start asking questions about the staff members leading these recruitmentsI take no pleasure in saying this, but these are the kinds of recruiting losses that show up in the fall. The thing that worries me a little (emphasis on little) is the numbers on the DL the last two classes. In 2025, we landed two edges and two DTs. One of those DTs is already gone, and Lowe's future is still up in the air. In 2026, we only took 2 edges. If we have the season we expect to have, that puts Lightfoot and Blount in a really good spot to enter the draft next season. Wilson, Moten and Scott are mostly shoe-ins for the draft as well. That's a lot of production, which is why we need big numbers in the Dline room for 2027. I assume the staff knows thatSince 2023 Mario and staff have gotten more 5 Star Commitments from DL & OL than any other team in the nation.

Yeah, Im paying attention to the average recruit number more than overall ranking. We stay above 92 and Im good. Currently there isnt anyone really on our commit list that I believe is just filler. Josh Johnson kinda is but you always take jumbo athletes that can move like that when you can.Agreed but even with that taken into account, we are sitting nicely abd by no means done.
We still can add at least 1 more five star. And a bunch if high end top-100 type players.
Your statement that D-line recruiting has slipped the last few cycles simply is not true. Looking back at the past 3 recruiting cycles, and I am including transfers as well since that is part of the game today, we have landed the following "blue chip" high school recruits (i.e. 4 star or higher per On3 industry rankings) and transfers:I take no pleasure in saying this, but these are the kinds of recruiting losses that show up in the fall. I’m talking about HS recruiting. And I’m comparing the 25, 26, 27 cycles to the 23 and 24 cycles. It’s an obvious step down.Your statement that D-line recruiting has slipped the last few cycles simply is not true. Our incoming DL Class (2026) has a bunch of lineman, two who were ranked in the composite top 100 (Stancil and Charles). The thing that worries me a little (emphasis on little) is the numbers on the DL the last two classes. Notice how I said nothing about the quality of talent. Stancil and Charles are going to be studs. I just said I'm a little nervous (again, emphasis on a little) about the overall numbers, mainly at DE. We gave taken 4 the last two classes combined (Lafayette, Charles, Lowe and Scroggins), so I would expect the staff to take a bigger DE class this year. Didn't think that was that crazy of a statement lolOur incoming DL Class (2026) has a bunch of lineman, two who were ranked in the composite top 100 (Stancil and Charles).
You are literally just making **** up.
If you really thought he was going to commit to Miami then I have some oceanview property to sell you in Nebraska. This guy was signed, sealed, and delivered to ND a long *** time ago.
Maybe you can link up with Mario and give him some adviceStaff be getting bodied
