My shields are up to full ignore of these children recruitment and possibly even after due to portal, actually till game day rosters are public!

It’s become a lot harder to flip kids nowadays, especially 5-stars and high 4-stars. Obviously, it can still happen, but schools (including us) put a big emphasis on locking guys in once they commit. Recruiting is on a whole other level than it was just a few years ago, when Scott and Fletcher were recruits

Agreed, flips will still happen but with how NIL is structured and players being paid out early, its no longer a viable strategy.

Hypothetically if we have a ton of money left over we could throw it at recruit. Nobody here wanted hear it at the time, but the outside noise on Scott was that we just ended up blowing Taint's offer out the water to get him to flip. I think it was much easier back then though because by the time November rolls around these days, not only are the kids getting paid, they are already a part of whatever program they are committed to and its still the honey moon stage.

Yea we do need this one, I do trust the staff to figure things out even when things look real bad optics wise. Lets wait till transfer portal but we do need young dogs to develop for sure, they done it before but nothing its not guaranteed that they figure it out so criticism is fine till then.
