David Feely Expected to be hired as SC Coach

Watched a video where he's preaching accountability. At least we know he will be there unlike Gus lol

IF hired, shouldn't be a shock, Manny retained him at Temple. Would have preferred Hester but think this could be a good hire too. Bet players will like him.

Temple tuff... this doesn’t give me confidence that we are hitting on our option a candidates

It should give confidence that we're saving money to spend where we need it -- a top-notch OC and staff. We're getting the defense on the cheap (including Diaz, who I haven't heard, but doubt is getting paid what Richt was), so there's money for the offense.

I also just have a feeling, there are going to be some key hires in analysis and support roles.

Very disappointing hire.

This reminds me of when we thought we were getting Ivey and we ended up with Gus.

I thought we were getting Hulk Hogan, because I made it up entirely in my head with zero credible sources whatsoever, brother.

It's the Gruden complex. Fanbase throws around ridiculous names, gets attached to them (even though they were never realistic options), and is disappointed when someone of THAT caliber is not hired.

It's totally irrational behavior.

Man now people on this group are bashing a strength and conditioning hire? I'm starting to learn this group is just a bunch of people who come together to ***** and complain about everything Miami related like our standards are the same as 2001.... Like really how can you bash a SC Coach without knowing anything about him? So because he was a temple SC Coach he's supposed to be terrible?

Because the S&C Coach has remotely as much impact on the outcome of the games as literally every single other coach.

Weelll...S&C coaching have as much to do with developing players from a physical standpoint as much as coaches do from an ability standpoint. It’s why big time programs spend as much as they do on S&C and nutrition. So yea, technically they do have an impact on the outcome of games.
