They are one of the most talented rosters in the country and once again right in the mix for the national championship. So far, they seem to be doing just fine.

Residuals from past recruiting classes. The bottom isn’t gonna fall out overnight but keep losing out on top kids in the trenches (and elite QBs like Curtis) and it will happen eventually. Look at Clemson. Dabo thought he had enough residuals in the tuck to ride it out a little longer but he was dead wrong.

Just comparing to younger guys and five star DL we have now, he has the length and reach of Lightfoot and the power of Blount, BUT his change of direction and explosion are unmatched.

His tape is jaw dropping like Dylan Stewart’s. There are levels to five stars even and this what a Top 5 edge looks like and plays like.

Would be a massive early win and tone-setter for the class.

I think his dad is regarding relationships over everything. He’s a big CMR fan. CMR was a big influence for him. Not saying CMR is pushing him here. But JT could be winning the relationship battle. Plus he’s got two guys he’s molded into decent draft picks in Bain and Mesidor.

I know Jacobs is a legacy but uga hasn’t dominated in state recruiting. They have lost out on plenty highly ranked in state players. They only signed 1 of the top 10 players in ga this past cycle and that was a TE. Texas tech went down there and took a 5 star DE

I just don’t view GA as incompetent in any way. Of course, NIL has changed the game, forcing programs to make strategic decisions re allocation of resources. But until proven otherwise, I presume GA is among the best operations in the country and will stay that way with Kirby.

Secondly, whats the chances Echeverria let Mario take the whole 4mil from CFB playoff and let him use it for NIL hence all the smoke directly after for Jacobs and Matthews lol

He has 4-5 year ties with evals and good relationships. He was landed guys like this while losing to Middle Tennessee State. Does it help that his plan to recruits worked? That does help a lot.
