Several sources are currently giving Miami the edge. In addition to how well the Hurricanes are playing heading into the second round of the College Football Playoff, and potentially being under Jason Taylor‘s wing, his relationships with Mario Cristobal and that staff are as strong as any he has. Sources are viewing Ohio State and Texas A&M as the biggest threats unless there is a philosophy change towards high school recruiting in Athens. Dialogue continues with each program meaning things can change at any point and Chad Simmons and I are both hearing a final decision has not been made yet.
