I say keep him committed to osu as long as possible before we flip so there is less noise around the recruitment. Them time it up well for a wave of momentum with others if needed
Ahhh yes, the good ol’ days of crootin, when nothing crazy ever hapI'm so sick of recruiting anymore. I miss the good old days of kids committing in February and that was that. This is so tiresome!
If he flips, OSU Twitter is going to have a full meltdown![]()
Mike has been a very good friend of mine for a LONG time. Reality is after Desiree Washington, Mike just wasn't the same person. Cus not being there amplified all of that. But physically and mentally that incident (which I have nothing to say on)ended his career. Evander himself would tell you he didn't want nothing to do with Mike before that. Remember Evander showed promise obviously and had his moments, but he was nowhere near his peak at the same point in time. He was still struggling with oliver mcall and such. This has to be Tyson when Cus was still alive. All the strategy was replaced by simple aggression after Cus died and Real Deal knew how to use that against Tyson.
I wish we had seen Tyson-Holyfield with Cus in Tyson’s corner. Tyson would have had a chance if he had a real plan other than “I’m going to come straight at you”
I repped one of Mike’s bodyguards back in the day.Mike has been a very good friend of mine for a LONG time. Reality is after Desiree Washington, Mike just wasn't the same person. I'm assuming you probably mean either Dave or Sean for his bodygaurdsnas they were his main two throughout. Both pretty bad dudes but we're basically just hanging out at the time. **** always made me laugh what going out with Mike was like. As athletes with large followings ourself we think I can't go here or a I can't there without this being what time is like. But time out with Mike was always insane. Didn't matter how big of a celebrity that person was considered they were all groupies to Mike. Star struck groupies **** near who ever it was. That incident after discussing it enough times with him simply breaks my heart. Mike is a very misunderstood dude. But I'm gonna stop causing a distraction on a thread our fan base should make sure they don't lose track of...I repped one of Mike’s bodyguards back in the day.
I always assumed it was Cus’ death that was the beginning of the change. Thank you for this information. We can have an off the record conversation one day about that case
I appreciate your perspective and insight on this. And you are correct but I won’t provide a name as to who I represented.I'm assuming you probably mean either Dave or Sean for his bodygaurdsnas they were his main two throughout. Roys another conversation for another time. I'll just say I became good with his wife awhile back. If you got a drug case then at that time you can't do any better than roy black. But besides that the great **** boy don king just ****ed Mike up again with retaining him. Agree 100% with his stance. ****ed Mike from the start.I appreciate your perspective and insight on this. I have some pretty strong feelings about the Tyson case, including what I felt were some pretty obvious mistakes by attorney Roy Black. He effectively argued that Washington should have known what she was getting into by hanging out at 2am with Tyson. Which maybe true but made Tyson extremely unsympathetic to the jury. Juries fund it easy to convict people thye hate, and hard to convict people they like. It’s human nature as much as it’s a legal decision
I can’t imagine what it was like hanging out with Mike. He is such a polarizing figure.
Lastly, it’s the off season
