2027 David "DJ" Jacobs 5* DE from Roswell, GA (Blessed Trinity Catholic) Commits to OSU 2.0

OSU I’m sure keeps trying to kick this can down the road. Shame he won’t be here for FSU.

They are just doing their job, reality is that if the kid and the family will do what they want. Im not saying they dont want to be at Miami just that Taint can and will only do so much.

247Sports sources have shared that DJ and Dawson Jacobs will be at Miami for the Oct. 24 matchup against Pitt, having previously been expected for the Florida State game. It's worth noting the Jacobs family has the week free and will likely spend some additional time in the state of Florida before getting down to Miami for

Blessed Trinity has that week off for fall break. My nephew goes there.

Deposit definitely hit for them not to come this week no doubt

Nothing new. Nebraska (lol), UGA, Tenn all involved and shouldn’t be dismissed but Miami viewed as biggest threat. Red carpet will be rolled out for him and his brother for Pitt game when they visit.

I'm usually Mr. We'll Flip Everyone, and obviously doubting Mario in these is LOL, but I just have a pessimistic view on this one. No real firm reason why, I just don't expect this kid at all. I think he sticks with Taint and will be right here for all the pointing and laughing and yall calling me a scary, soft-shouldered ***** when he flips to the good guys. Just a gut feeling.

I need Wilson to get 4 more sacks in the next 2 games. Case study in Jason Taylor development.

If he has a week to get the family down might make a whole lot of sense. It would appear his parents would be able to make the move to South Florida with the type of NIL he is going to get and if course they get that transferable “job” they will be looking for.

Big decisions if both boys would be coming.

I’m actually starting to feel better about it . I guess we’ll see.

Canes are the one to watch for the flip

Yes but he’s also kept his recruitment very quiet. You almost never know when he’s visiting places. I’m sure they are paying but it fits his MO to come for Pitt instead

I wonder if he’s coming to the Pitt game to get more FaceTime with the coaches and such. Obviously a night game vs our biggest rival with an embarrassment of five starts visiting makes sense too. Wouldn’t surprise me if that was a mutually agreed thing by both parties.

Let’s see what happens after his visit for Pitt game.

I'm surprised they have their fall break so late. All the other schools up here have fall break in September, and usually the private schools align with the counties.

Such a bummer because I agree that a night game would have been much better than a noon game. But also, at this point in his recruitment, if the time and opponent of our game would be the difference, we weren't getting him anyway.

True. But we have flipped so many OSU commits in past I imagine they would pull out all the stops to prevent this one from happening.
