Wasn't that the LB who signed with Maryland? I think some on this board went nuclear when we didn't pursue.

I just looked through the sordid history of 2.0 threads on CIS after a comment in the DJ Jacobs 2.0 thread. Its brutal, way worse than I thought. The only eventual signing I found was Damon Wilson (and that was via the portal). Created a new rule:

52. If a recruit has a 2.0 thread, they aren't coming to Miami.​

Yes, I believe there was some sort of thread that went to 4.0, and then later you tried to bring back earlier versions and merge them, and you had some trouble with that.

That didn't show in my initial search because it wasn't a 2.0 thread. It was labeled Part 2. Still think the rule is in tact. If I were superstitious, I'd have @RVACane update the OP to say "Part 2" rather than "2.0".

The 6-5, 220-pounder is currently a consensus 5-star recruit in the national rankings. According to the 247Sports Composite, Williams is the #9 player nationally, #1 ATH in the country, and the #1 player in the Sunshine State. I’m pretty sure we have had kids commit from 2.0 before. Avantae Williams might be one of them but I’m not sure.

Avantae had a commit thread, a decommit thread and a shock/surprise signing thread. No 2.0 thread as I don't think the original thread fell off the rails.
