Was it Terrence Lewis by chance? I can't recall exactly who it was but I'd bet a pound of bacon there was a 4.0 thread for someoneHoly **** now I remember that. Can’t recall the player but this happened
Jerry jeudy?Holy **** now I remember that. Can’t recall the player but this happened
Wasn't that the LB who signed with Maryland? I think some on this board went nuclear when we didn't pursue. Was it Terrence Lewis by chance? I can't recall exactly who it was but I'd bet a pound of bacon there was a 4.0 thread for someone
2.0 and up has never gone well for us.
What's the record here. Has any recruiting thread gone to 3.0 or 4.0?
Another rule for Mario to break? Someone add it to the list.
Yes. Went to Maryland, got hurt, transferred to UCF and never really played anywhere.Wasn't that the LB who signed with Maryland? I think some on this board went nuclear when we didn't pursue.
Named Hypolite yea?Yes. Went to Maryland, got hurt, transferred to UCF and never really played anywhere.
That’s a great call and I think so. There were multiple threads about him. What a mess he was.Was it Terrence Lewis by chance? I can't recall exactly who it was but I'd bet a pound of bacon there was a 4.0 thread for someone
He may have been two threads at least. I remember merging an old and new one for him i believe.Jerry jeudy?
if we're sure no one has committed after a 2.0/3.0 etc. thread was created for them.
Was it J Smith or Shemar StewartYes, I believe there was some sort of thread that went to 4.0, and then later you tried to bring back earlier versions and merge them, and you had some trouble with that.
If my memory serves...
**** I am late asf lol
I just looked through the sordid history of 2.0 threads on CIS after a comment in the DJ Jacobs 2.0 thread. Its brutal, way worse than I thought. The only eventual signing I found was Damon Wilson (and that was via the portal). Created a new rule:
52. If a recruit has a 2.0 thread, they aren't coming to Miami.
Yea and every top SoFl WR ever we knew dam well was not coming and was firm to Bama...Was it J Smith or Shemar Stewart
Pretty sure James Williams broke that law

That didn't show in my initial search because it wasn't a 2.0 thread. It was labeled Part 2. Still think the rule is in tact. If I were superstitious, I'd have @RVACane update the OP to say "Part 2" rather than "2.0".Pretty sure James Williams broke that law
I’m pretty sure we have had kids commit from 2.0 before. Avantae Williams might be one of them but I’m not sure.2.0 and up has never gone well for us.

The law kicks in at 250 pages and we're a long way from that point (for now)
15. Once a recruit's page his 250+ pages, they're not coming.
As of now, we don't have a 2.0/3.0/4.0 rule but we could potentially add one if we're sure no one has committed after a 2.0/3.0 etc. thread was created for them.
Avantae had a commit thread, a decommit thread and a shock/surprise signing thread. No 2.0 thread as I don't think the original thread fell off the rails.I’m pretty sure we have had kids commit from 2.0 before. Avantae Williams might be one of them but I’m not sure.
