I believe everything recruits say even if they contradict themselves from one sentence to the next because I'm a mindless nerd.
Coaches think that Rashawn Scott was the best receiver on the roster this season.
Yup done deal not the best move for him tho
For the situation he is in and what he's caught up in. It is.
Heavy gang ties. Has to get away.

Good call. Going to fsu is like going into a monastery. No way trouble will find him at that bastion of innocence and piety.

Point taken but there's a difference between being a dummy in Tallahasee and getting shot in Miami.

Yep. He's basically been a walking target for 18 years now. Can't take the chance that an extra day in South Florida will result in his demise.
Is he holed up in a safe house somewhere in North Dakota right now awaiting his quiet transfer to fsu where he will be impossible to find because it's such a low profile program?
And I'm sure he'll never visit South Florida again once he gets transferred to the safety of idyllic Tallahassee. If he really wants to be safe maybe he'll go to auburn.

Haha, exactly. If his situation is so bad that people on the internet are talking about it, then how come Golden and CO. are even recruiting the kid? I mean, if everybody knows he's got gang ties and a target on his back, why the **** would any coach, even one with **** for brains(i.e. Golden), want to put the other 84 guys on the team in harm's way? Shouldn't the coaches at Central be looking out for whats best for Phillips and telling Miami to stay away, that the best thing for the kid is to get out of town? If he didn't have an offer, he couldn't even stay in Miami if he wanted.
If his situation is as bad as people on here claim, then it's sad that the adults in his life, like his coaches, aren't doing everything they can, even as far as sabotaging his Canes offer, to get him out of Miami.

That's why it all reads like a big bag of **** to me. Dudes love the gang melodrama ****, but they never dig any deeper. How is he still alive? Will they only merk him if he decides to go to UM? Is it just an anti-UM gang because he's been in S. FL now for 18 years or so and is still alive.

If I am correct. His mother got killed over the issues.
Regardless of him going to FSU or wherever it may be. It's been well noted that he needs to get away, it's not some bull****.
The only thing in our favor is early playing time and Brad Kaaya.
Phillips has been an FSU lock since the day Dalvin committed there during the all-star practices.
Theirs nothing to see here, Phillips is to Cook as Bruce is to Scarlett. Package deals still go on till today.
I'm not getting excited for this one at all. Color me extremely shocked if Phillips comes to Miami.
Can trouble follow kids anywhere? Yeah. But he needs a change of scenery regardless if it's FSU.

LULZ. Since you seem to know him very closely, can you tell me if it's just an anti-UM gang that will only merk him if he signs with UM? Otherwise, I'm having trouble seeing how he seems to be walking around S. FL for at least the last few years and is being recruited by everyone.

Quit dodging Franchise's question, is it an anti UM gang? If not, why is he still alive? Are the local gangs now waiting until dudes turn 19, 20, 21 before killing them?
