Dark Horse Heisman

Watch out for the buechele kid from UT. He will definitely be in that discussion...maybe even McSorley from PSU even though he inaccurate as ****.

thing about Homer is he has shown the ability to break long runs, so he wont need alot of carries to attain yardage and TD's. Willlis had 1700 yards on 280 carries...now before everyone says TH aint no Willis. Remember Willis wasnt gonna start until Frank got hurt, and im pretty sure no one would have seen the season he had come to fruition.

Bouchele may not even be the starter his backup is a stud under a new regime. Homer with his pass-rushing abilities he is a great candidate.
 
Big fan of Homer but he would need close to 2k yards, 20 plus TD and a playoff appearance.

McGahee put up a monster season on America’s most dominant team and couldn’t even sniff the top 3.

Homer has no shot, especially now that Lingard can still be guaranteed a RS after four games.

That kid is too talented and all indications are he works **** hard. He’s going to get a legit number of carries imo.

We've got way too much talent at RB for us to work Homer like a rented mule. Why??

We have a talented balanced attack and our OL is not our strength offensively. Why go one dimensional trying to get a player an award he has absolutely NO chance at getting......not because of talent but because of PR.

If McGahee didn't win it in 2001 with 18-1900 or so yards on a #1 ranked team what makes anyone think a Miami non QB will get it?
