Dark Horse Heisman

Have you seen the o-line the last two years?
They can’t improve?
They improved each of the last 2 years(in year 1 especially after that va tech game)

I’m talking about only the line performance because although I’m very high on homer being a dark horse for the heisman is a ridiculous claim period

Since 2000 a non QB has won the award twice. It's a QB award for the most part. Like many have said Homer will split carries which I am 100% OK with.

So you're saying Rosier has a chance.

Never said they couldn't improve. I'm as hopeful as the next fan that they do improve because it's a necessity if the program wants to get to the next level. However, in the context of Homer being a dark horse for the Heisman this year, they'll need to improve drastically.

Homer had 163 carries last year which will probably bump up over 220 with him being the #1 but will still be splitting carries. For reference the last 3 Heisman RB's were well above that: Dayne 337 carries, Ingram 271 carries, and Henry 395(wow!) carries. Too many weapons on O for us this year which is good problem.

I don’t think Homer is going to split careies as much as everyone thinks. Sure DJ will get his touches but Homer is going to be our horse. Make no mistake. He’s our best offensive player imo.
