Dante Moore to the portal!!!

Pretty amazing that Oregon convinced this kid to sit a year before becoming the starter. If I recall correctly, Mario really wanted this kid out of high school. I admit, I didn’t quite see it with this kid, but he is becoming quite the quarterback.

Rarely care about QB recruiting but was a big fan of this kid coming out of high school. We were on him and he seemed like the best out the crop. His dad when he portaled openly stated he was willing to sit and learn so wasnt just an Oregon thing. Would have been an amazing grab, kid is legit

Incredibly smart and mature move on his part. Wonder if Mario tried to grab him out the portal.

he actually wanted to sit a year. Oregon had Gabriel already. he just wanted a true redshirt year to learn
 
They seem to protect him with the play calls & designs. He's made some nice plays on his own. Reminds me of Purdy in SF.

To be fair, looked meh under the gawd chip Kelly at ucla. I do love the idea of picking up two portal QBs. One with a year to play and one with 3 and started a year already. Or similar setup. We know Judd and Emory aren’t it. If Luke isn’t gets reps in the back 7 games… land two and have Coleman plus two

Portal QBs seem a surer bet than the 5 Star Specials out there.
